May 16, 2012 - I have a 25 gallon freshwater aquarium, with one live plant, lots of snails, and 4 fish.
Today i found one of my fish and some kind of weird insect/larvae/parasite thing on the bottom of the tank.
The insect was about a half inch long, dark grey/black, had 6 legs, what looked like two wings on its back, and a squirmy segmented tail that looked kind of worm-like. It had no antennae. When it moved, it kind of squirmed its tail back and forth-similar to what I've seen mosquito larvae do.
