May 7, 2012 - I have a 10 year old plestocomus fish along with another pleco which is grown as well. It was given to me as a gift. I decided that I want to start a freshwater community fish tank filled with beautiful fishes. I bought a 55 gallon tank kit. It came with a heater, filter, and other things. I also bought salt for the tank, stress zyme and stress coat I think its called. An employee at petco recomended it to me. May 5, 2012 - I just added fish and plants to my 40-gallon fish tank. When I first set the tank up, I let it cycle for about a week, then added 4 feeder fish to the tank to let algae build up and to get the water ready for more (real) fish.
Yesterday I added lots of plant life, 3 small angelfish, 3 glow-lite tetras, and 2 algae eaters to the tank. All of the fish yesterday were active and appearing healthy.
